Photoshoot Process
Your photoshoot experience is designed to be thoughtful, guided, and effortless from the moment you book to the day you receive your final gallery. My goal is for you to feel confident, supported, and excited every step of the way. Here’s what you can expect:
Step 1: Booking
Once you’re ready to move forward, your session is officially secured with a 50% retainer. At the time of booking, you’ll also have a contract that must be signed to confirm your session date. My policies—including rescheduling, cancellations, and general expectations—are clearly outlined during this step so everything is transparent from the beginning.
Your consultation is where we bring your vision into focus. We’ll go over details such as backdrop color, posing, photo inspirations and overall goals for your session. If at any point you need help, guidance, or clarity—please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to assist and make sure you feel fully prepared going into your shoot.
Consultation is included in your booking however if you wish to have a consultation prior to. booking you are able to purchase a consultation.
Step 2:Consultation
On the day of your session, all you need to do is show up and trust the process. I’ll guide you through posing, movement, and expression so you never feel unsure or uncomfortable. This time is meant to be relaxed, enjoyable, and empowering.
Studio housekeeping rules and address will be located in client confirmation and reminder email.
Step 3: Photoshoot Day
After your session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery where you’ll view and select your favorite images. Once you’ve made your selections and notified me, your images will move into the editing phase.
Step 4: proofs/client gallery
Editing begins after your selected images have been chosen and confirmed.
Standard image turnaround time is 7–10 business days. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
For creative images, the turnaround time is 10–15 business days, as these require additional attention and detail.
Each image is carefully retouched to enhance color, lighting, and overall polish while maintaining a natural, timeless look.
Step 5: Editing
Your final, fully edited images will be delivered in a beautifully curated online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to download, share, and enjoy your images.
